Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of SSAT Coach ("the service," "we," "us"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

What SSAT Coach is

SSAT Coach is an independent online study tool that helps students prepare for the SSAT with practice questions, timed sections and tests, explanations, and AI-assisted feedback. It is a preparation aid, not the real exam, and it is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by The Enrollment Management Association (the EMA), which owns and administers the SSAT.

Accounts

You must be an adult to create an account. The account is a parent account: you create and control profiles for the children you are helping, and you are responsible for all activity under your account. Keep your sign-in email secure. Tell us promptly at info@ssatcoach.com if you believe your account has been used without your permission.

Acceptable use

Please use the service for personal, non-commercial test preparation. You agree not to:

• Copy, scrape, republish, or resell our questions, passages, explanations, or other content;
• Share one account for use by unrelated families or by an organization;
• Attempt to break, overload, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the service;
• Use the service in a way that violates any law or infringes anyone's rights.

Payment, access period, and renewal

The core account is free. Full Access is an optional, one-time purchase that unlocks additional features for a fixed access period stated at checkout (currently $89 for 90 days). There is no subscription and no automatic renewal; access simply ends when the period is over, and you may purchase again if you want more time. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never receive your card details. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.

AI features and accuracy

Some features use AI to generate explanations, similar practice problems, and feedback on writing samples. AI output can occasionally be wrong or incomplete. Treat it as a study aid, not a definitive answer key, and verify anything important. Our essay grades are for prep-progress tracking only; on the real SSAT the writing sample is sent to schools unscored.

Intellectual property

The service and its content, including original questions, passages, explanations, and design, are owned by SSAT Coach and protected by law. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable license to use the service for your family's test preparation. "SSAT" is a registered trademark of the EMA; we use it only to describe the exam our tool helps prepare for.

No guarantee of results

We build our practice on established learning-science principles and calibrate it to the style of the real test, but test outcomes depend on many factors we do not control. We do not guarantee any particular score, score improvement, or admission result.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. To the fullest extent permitted by law, SSAT Coach will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Suspension and termination

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access that violates these Terms or that we reasonably believe harms the service or other users.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. If a change is material, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify account holders. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
